Analysis : how to improve education in the country ?

After the Fifth International Research Seminar on Quality Education in Bogota, is on the table the issue of what can be done to improve performance on tests of Icfes , in cases where they have not been high.

The first evidence that the country is badly in educational quality was seen when the results of the Pisa tests of the International Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to assess students who are 15 years expiring published the basic education.

In this test the results of Colombia have always been low , but in 2014 the country was last in the results , which for many meant a great shame .

When questioned on the subject, the director of the Institute for the Promotion of Higher Education, Icfes , Ximena Dueñas said he does not think that Colombia has gone bad. According to her, " we're getting into a league of countries that have educational projects , some ancient , we are comparing ourselves with the most elite of the elite of countries that are facing economic development where it goes ."

UDD Medical School celebrated its first 10 years

The German School of Clinical Medicine, University of Development held a ceremony to celebrate its first 10 years of life. On the occasion, held a special recognition to former rector for 21 years of the university, Ernesto Silva Bafalluy for his vision, creative energy and dedication to this project. Also, a medal was given to each of the authorities, faculty and staff who have been part of this story.
